Ahmadu Bello Foundation gifts Flood Victims

In order to relieve flood victims in Maiduguri, Borno State, the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) has contributed N20 million. Engineer Abubakar Gambo Umar, the foundation’s director general, conveyed his sincere condolences to Babagana Zulum, the state governor, and the people of Borno State for the tragedy while presenting the donation to him. He expressed the foundation’s alarm over the dead and damaged property, as well as the substantial damage the floods have caused to nearby companies. In addition to praying for a speedy recovery from the catastrophe’s terrible impacts, Engineer Umar reiterated the foundation’s dedication to helping the impacted communities during this trying time.

“We urge all well-meaning Nigerians and members of the international community to join us in assisting Borno State in its recovery efforts. Together, we can help rebuild lives and restore hope to those affected by this calamity,” he added.In his response, Governor Zulum expressed his appreciation to the foundation and assured that the amount donated would be judiciously used to ameliorate the suffering of the victims of the recent flood disaster.
