Following the release of his breakout hit Sade in December 2014—a cover of One Direction’s Story of My Life—Pheelz urged Olamide to consider signing him, leading to a transformative chapter in his career.
Under YBNL, Adekunle Gold released his debut album Gold, featuring hits like Orente and Pick Up, marking the beginning of his rise to stardom. Over the years, he has evolved from a folk-inspired singer to a global pop sensation, boasting five albums and numerous chart-topping records.
As he marks this milestone, Adekunle Gold remains one of Africa's most versatile and celebrated artists, admired for his penmanship, showmanship, and innovative sound.
