Actress Tope Osoba discloses battle with breast cancer

Ailing Nollywood actress Tope Osoba recently shared a heartfelt update on her ongoing battle with breast cancer, expressing deep gratitude to her supporters for their unwavering assistance. In an emotional video posted by fellow actress Foluke Daramola on Instagram on November 15, Tope opened up about her health struggles, but also delivered some positive news—she had successfully undergone a critical breast cancer surgery, marking a major step in her recovery journey.

Appearing visibly weak and bandaged in the video, Tope’s determination and gratitude shone through as she thanked Foluke and everyone who contributed financially towards her treatment. "I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me, especially Foluke. Your help gave me a chance to fight this battle," she said.

However, Tope acknowledged that the road ahead is still long and financially draining. She appealed for continued support to help cover the cost of aftercare and additional treatments necessary for her recovery. 

In her caption, Daramola wrote, "Behold the face of the colleague I told you all about. She has gone through the surgery, we didn’t get much but we appreciate you all. Her family members rallied round and we were able to pay for the surgery, but we still hope for your support and help, please." Daramola also shared Osoba's account details for anyone willing to offer more assistance, urging fans to keep supporting.
