Actress Kiitan Bukola Opens Up About Marriage Fears and Desire for a Stable Home
Nollywood star Kiitan Bukola shares her childhood struggles and fears of marriage, emphasizing her dream of providing her future kids with a loving, stable home.
Nollywood actress Kiitan Bukola has candidly shared her fears about marriage and her desire to provide her future children with the stable and loving home she never experienced.
Speaking on the latest episode of the *Talk to B* podcast, Kiitan revealed her childhood struggles, recounting how she grew up without the love and care of a father. “I never lived with both my parents, and I don’t even know some of my father’s children because we are close to fourteen,” she said.
The actress explained that her fear of marriage stems from wanting to ensure her children don’t grow up in a separated home or without fatherly care. “I love marriage, but I’m scared of it at the same time. My ideal man is understanding, prayerful, and supportive—someone who can be my best friend and balance my work and our home.”
She also reflected on a past relationship where her ex-partner demanded she return money for a job, highlighting the challenges of finding someone who respects her career.
Bukola, who announced her engagement in November 2022, ended the relationship two months later amid allegations of infidelity. Despite her fears, she remains hopeful for a loving partnership that aligns with her values.
