Abducted Emir In Sokoto Begs For Help As Terrorists Release Brutal Video
The Emir and his son were kidnapped in July at the Kwanar Maharba area while travelling from Sokoto to his home town, Sabon Birni, the headquarters of Sabon Birni local government of Sokoto State.
The Sarkin Gobir of Gatawa District, Alhaji Isa Muhammad Bawa, who was abducted alongside his son in a terrifying ambush, has made a desperate plea for help in a harrowing new video. The monarch and his son were kidnapped in July while traveling from Sokoto to Sabon Birni. As their vehicle came under fire, the tires burst, leading to their capture. The terrorists demanded a staggering N1 billion ransom for their release. In the video, the Emir, visibly distressed, speaks in Hausa, revealing the dire conditions they're enduring in the forest, pleading for urgent government intervention. Chillingly, a gunman can be heard dictating the monarch's words, further emphasizing the gravity of their situation.
