Veteran Nollywood actress Toyin Adegbola recently sparked debate with her controversial take on marriage and infidelity. In an Instagram Live session, Adegbola advised women not to abandon their marriages over a cheating spouse, arguing that divorce is not the solution.
Speaking in Yoruba, she emphasized that it’s unwise for women to leave their husbands due to bad behavior, warning that finding a single man willing to marry a divorcee is difficult. Instead, she suggested women tolerate their unfaithful husbands and even buy condoms for them rather than walk away.
“No matter how terrible your husband behaves, don’t leave your home. Just pray and, if needed, buy him condoms,” she urged.
