Nigerian Afro-house sensation Niniola has revealed why she opted to stay an independent artist for over a decade. Speaking in a TVC interview, the Maradona singer shared that independence allows her full creative control, avoiding label-imposed restrictions. She explained, “After my debut single, a label wanted to sign me, but I was sceptical—they could change my style. I didn’t want that.”
Niniola emphasized understanding the business side of music while staying true to her artistry. She also described herself as an introvert who channels extroversion through music.
