Actress Nkechi Blessing has publicly apologized to TAMPAN and its president, Mr. Latin, for her 2021 remarks during the Baba Ijesha controversy, seeking reconciliation at a Canada event.
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has issued a public apology to the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and its president, Mr. Latin, during a Canadian event.
Her apology stems from the 2021 controversy surrounding her criticism of Baba Ijesha’s alleged child defilement, which caused tension with TAMPAN. In a video, Blessing is seen kneeling, expressing remorse for her actions and apologizing to TAMPAN leaders and veteran actor Jide Kosoko for her past disrespectful remarks.
