Aworo, also known as Chief Jimoh Aliu, was a veteran theater practitioner who passed away. Aliu, 86, passed away on Thursday at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State, after a brief illness. “The deceased’s body would be taken to his home in the Adebayo area of Ado-Ekiti before being taken to his hometown, Okemesi Ekiti in the Ekiti West Local Government Area of the state, where he would be buried tomorrow,” according to a source who was close to the late theater practitioner.
Aliu passed away while producing the first film, “Olowo Ite,” out of five that were reportedly starring leading Nollywood stars.
