UNGA: VP Shettima returns to Abuja from New York

After effectively representing President Bola Tinubu at the just finished 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, Vice-President Kashim Shettima returned to Abuja on Sunday. According to a statement released by vice president Stanley Nkwocha, Mr. Shettima delivered Nigeria’s national declaration during the UNGA’s general debate. Mr. Nkwocha added that the vice president attended a number of side events at the General Assembly in addition to many bilateral meetings. He stated that Mr. Shettima will accompany President Tinubu to commemorate a few events organized in honor of Nigeria’s 64th year of independence.
