According to Oloketuyi, Monalisa passed away in Lagos on Sunday, after succumbing to complications from low blood sugar and internal bleeding. Her immediate younger sister confirmed the sad development, marking the end of a vibrant and hardworking life.

As an actress, she starred in a number of Nollywood productions where she quickly became admired for her confidence, body positivity advocacy, and charisma. Beyond acting, she carved a niche as a brand ambassador and social media influencer, using her platforms to promote fashion, self-love, and lifestyle brands.
