The atmosphere turned electric when the producer playfully announced that Davido wouldn’t be attending, only for the artist to make a surprise entrance moments later. Davido revealed that the album was initially titled “Invasion” before settling on 5ive, symbolizing his fifth studio project and personal growth. He also shared that “Holy Water,” featuring Musa Keys and Victony, was the most challenging track to produce, a sentiment echoed by the attending fans.

Released on April 18, 2025, 5ive has garnered significant attention, debuting at number one on Nigeria’s Apple Music and iTunes Top Albums charts and charting in 40 countries, including the UK, where it made history by having 12 songs simultaneously on the UK Spotify Daily Chart.
