The drama began when Beauty Goddess, a close friend of Priscilla Ojo, posted a video explaining why she couldn’t attend the actress’s traditional wedding. In the video, she cited a pre-booked vacation flight as her reason for absence. However, her tone and choice of words were perceived by many as dismissive and shady, leading to accusations that she was downplaying the significance of Priscilla’s big day. The situation escalated when Priscilla reportedly unfollowed Beauty Goddess on Instagram, signaling a rift between the two friends.

In her Beauty Goddess apology to Priscilla Ojo, the influencer expressed deep regret for her earlier comments. She wrote, “I’ve seen some of the reactions to the live I did, and honestly, I understand why people are upset. It came off like I was being dismissive about Priscilla’s wedding, and I hate that it even looked like that.” She directly addressed Priscilla, stating, “Priscilla, if you see this I’m really really sorry. I love and respect you so much and God knows how excited I’ve been for your big day. I would never intentionally try to make it about me or take away from your moment.”

Beauty Goddess went on to explain that her initial comments were not meant to sound “shady or unserious,” admitting, “The way I said what I said was messy, and I own that. I wasn’t thinking about how it would sound, and I definitely didn’t mean it in a shady or unserious way.” She also apologized to Priscilla’s new family, saying, “The last thing I’d ever want is to make your day feel less than perfect, especially over something like this I have no bad intentions at all and I’m deeply sorry to Mr and Mrs Mkambala.”

The apology concluded with a reflective note: “I’m still learning, still growing but I’m always going to hold myself accountable. I wish you all the love and happiness in the world. And again I’m truly truly sorry.” The sincerity of her words aimed to mend the rift and address the hurt caused by her earlier remarks.
