Nigerian music sensation Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy has opened up about a personal struggle involving his tattoos and how they’ve affected his relationship with his father. Speaking on a recent episode of the 90s Baby Show, the “Adedamola” hitmaker revealed that his dad has never approved of his body art and may never forgive him for it.
The 29-year-old artist, known for his soulful lyrics and emotional depth, admitted that he wears jalabiya whenever his father visits just to keep the tattoos hidden. “Tattoos, they break his heart every time he sees them,” Fireboy shared. “My dad doesn’t have a problem with my piercing, but these tattoos? He will never forgive me.”

Despite his father’s disapproval, Fireboy stands firm in his love for tattoos, calling them a form of art and self-expression. He added, “Even if I had ended up as a banker, I would still have had tattoos. It’s not about being an artist — it’s who I am.”
