Alexer denied the allegations, instead accusing Harrysong of domestic violence and infidelity, revealing details of his alleged affairs in a public statement last year.

The announcement follows a tumultuous period in his marriage to Alexer Peres, with the couple separating after Harrysong accused her of infidelity in May 2024, claiming she was pregnant by another man. Harrysong and Alexer share twins, born in June 2017, named Perez and Tare, adding a layer of complexity to their public fallout. His career began in nightclubs before a breakthrough introduction to music industry figures by fellow artist Kcee, eventually leading to a nomination for Best Pop R&B Artist of the Year at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards for his song Beta Pikin. Alexer previously disclosed suffering a miscarriage in March 2024, shortly after accusing Harrysong of sharing her contact details with unknown women who allegedly threatened her.
The singer, known for his 2013 hit tribute to Nelson Mandela that won Most Downloaded Callertune Award at The Headies, has a history of personal challenges, including a strained relationship with his stepmother after his mother’s death, which led him to drop out of school.
