Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has stirred fresh debate with his recent statement on DNA tests and paternity disputes.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the actor asserted that any woman who refuses a DNA test for her child upon request is hiding something. He cautioned men against accepting excuses from their partners, emphasizing that a clear conscience has nothing to fear.
“Any woman who refuses to do a DNA test on her child when it is demanded is hiding something. Don’t fall for any excuse she gives to you. She is hiding something. A clear conscience fears nothing.”
Edochie’s remarks come months after reports surfaced about his second wife, Judy Austin, and allegations from her ex-husband, Obasi. Obasi claimed that Judy was involved with Edochie while still married to him.
However, Judy denied the accusations, stating that she met Yul only after separating from her first marriage.
The actor’s statement has reignited discussions on paternity fraud, trust in relationships, and whether DNA tests should be a standard procedure in marriages.
