20 reported dead as rival terrorist groups clash in Katsina

A fierce clash between Mai Nore’s gang and the Buzaro terrorist group in Katsina State has resulted in heavy casualties, with over 20 bodies reported at the scene.

In the early hours of today, a fierce clash erupted between Mai Nore’s gang and the Buzaro terrorist group in the Dan-Ali area of Dan-Musa Local Government Area, Katsina State. 

Eyewitnesses describe intense gunfire during the confrontation. Counterterrorism expert Zagazola Makama shared details of the clash on his X handle, revealing that intelligence sources indicate significant casualties on both sides.

He stated that more than 20 bodies were reportedly left at the scene.

Many bandits were also reported to have sustained injuries during the clash.
