An 18-passenger bus, registered Oyo GBH 734 XB, took a dramatic plunge into a river in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Sunday night. The vehicle, which fell into Kinnira Stream, was reported to be empty at the time of the incident, with only the driver, identified as Mayowa, on board.
No casualties were reported. Sources revealed that the bus had been vacated by passengers due to an earlier crash. Despite this, the driver lost control, crashing the unoccupied bus into the river after hitting the railings.
