Nigerian superstar Zlatan recently opened up about the pivotal moments in his career during a podcast session, revealing how Olamide and Davido played crucial roles in his rise to fame.
Zlatan recounted how he would constantly message Olamide, hoping for a collaboration. "I was always in Olamide’s DM, copying and pasting messages, just praying for a chance to work with him," he shared. His persistence eventually paid off when he secured a paid collaboration with Oritsefemi for the hit song “Oh My Lord.”
Zlatan continued, "As usual, I informed Olamide about the music video, and to my surprise, he not only viewed and replied but also showed up at the shoot. He spent just 15 minutes with us, but that small gesture meant the world to me."
The turning point came a few days later when Zlatan saw a video of Davido dancing to his song. "I couldn’t believe it," he said. "I was so happy, I ran to my street naked, jubilating with joy!"
Zlatan emphasized how that single repost and dance from Davido completely changed the trajectory of his career. He expressed his deep gratitude, saying he will always remember Olamide and Davido for their support in his life journey.
